Gas Engines
Speed Bias Setup 2
This feature allows the user to enable and set up the speed bias signal that
will be received by the engine controller. For engines equipped with PCC
generator set controls, the speed bias will need to be enabled. The speed
bias signal provides the engine governor with speed compensation to allow
the generator set to be synchronized with a utility source and also allows
it to be loaded and unloaded once it is connected to the utility. This speed
bias can be enabled and saved with the engine stopped. This applies to
Gas Compression GTA3.9/5.9/8.3GC, KTA19/38GC CM556/CM558.
Diesel Engines
Switch and Sensor Intermittent Connection Test
This test is used to isolate loose and intermittent connections, open
circuits, and shorts in the engine wiring harness. This test will display
switch and sensor values as read from the ECM. The test will also records
the maximum voltage change for sensors and any state change for switches that
have occurred. This test applies to QSB CM850, QSC CM850. QSL CM850. ISX CM871, ISM CM876,
ISX CM870, ISB CM2150, ISC CM2150, ISL CM2150.

Diesel Exhaust Fluid Doser Purge Counter
The Diesel Exhaust Fluid Doser shall purge at every key off event to ensure
that there is no Diesel Exhaust Fluid present within the pump. This is to
prevent a case where fluid might freeze and expand destroying the internal
parts in the pump. This applies to ISB/C/L CM2250, ISX 11.9/15/16 CM2250,
ISX13 CM2150 S, ISF2.8 CM2220 A, ISF3.8 CM2220 A, ISM11 CM876 S.
Knock Count Reset
One of the system trims is to adjust the initial position for the fuel
control valve when the engine is first started. This feature allows a
service technician to adjust this initial position for optimum starting
performance. This applies to QSK 19G/45G/60G, QSV81/91 MCM700/SSM558.
